The Marlin Music Week is the premier annual Christian event for the Caribbean. It comprises of the Global Gospel Music Summit, the Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Fest and not to mention the Marlin Music Awards (MMA). The Marlin Music Week boasts its inspiring and uplifting tropical appeal, attracting thousands in the global Christian community to gather and celebrate the most outstanding in Caribbean and international Christian music.
Now produced by Harris Communications the MMA was originally established in March 1996 by Kevin Harris, a recording artist, radio announcer and gospel music executive. With over forty-five awarding categories, the Awards program is judged by a panel of seven industry professionals (i.e. recording artists, songwriters, producers, engineers and radio announcers) from seven countries.
